Welcome to MacKayFoundation.Org Mission Statement The MacKay Foundation for Cancer Research is excited to have planned another year of activities to provide support for cancer research at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Section on Hematology and Oncology. It is our desire to make a difference in the lives of our family, friends and coworkers who have been touched by cancer.
As we have no paid staff and very little overhead, only a small portion of your donation or sponsorship will be used by the foundation to underwrite the expenses of our fundraising efforts. In this way, the greatest amount of your contribution will be used toward important ongoing cancer research and ensuring that new research projects will have the seed funding to move forward. Last year, we presented to WFUSM, Section on Hematology and Oncology a check for $54,000. Since our first tournament held in 1994, over $1 million has been gifted benefiting blood and marrow transplant, leukemia, hematology, breast and ovarian research and education at WFUSM, Section on Hematology and Oncology. We invite you to be a part of our exciting activities by becoming a corporate sponsor, making a charitable donation or participating in our fundraisers to ensure that our vision is realized. Please visit "Make a Donation" to view a copy of our 2012 Corporate/Individual Sponsorship and Charitable Gift Agreement with a description of the different levels of sponsorships available. Thank you for your consideration to support the MacKay Foundation for Cancer Research through sponsorship, participation or by making a charitable gift.
